Imaginatively rendered but slightly chilly, this 1951 Disney adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic is also appropriately surreal. Alice (voiced by Kathryn Beaumont) has all the anticipated experiences: shrinking and growing, meeting the White Rabbit, having tea with the Mad Hatter, etc. Characterization is very strong, and the Disney team worked hard to bring screen personality to Carroll's eccentric creations. For a Disney film, however, it seems more the self-satisfied sum of its inventiveness than a truly engaging experience. --Tom Keogh

great movie:
My daughter is 1 and loves this movie. I hardly remembered watching it when I was little. Still a cute movie, but much shorter than the new Disney movies. Great classic.
My toddler loves it!!!:
Awesome classic! Arrived in a timely manner. My son loved it! Fun for the whole family. A must have Disney movie to enjoy for years to come...
Never received it:
Let's just say I never received my DVD. They were unable to provide any tracking information. My emails were not answered. And I ended up filing a claim with Amazon for a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT!
The classic:
What is there to say... I grew up watching this version of Alice and watching it again was a trip! The female lead can NOT sing, even though Alice sings a bit, but the animation is still beuatiful and the songs are still fun. A great trip down memory lane, even if it is not a movie I would seek out now!
